About me image

I'm Manasvi Pandey, a Full Stack Software Engineer and Tech Lead with a passion for building products that solve real problems. Over the years, I've worked across multiple technologies, led engineering teams, and built applications ranging from CRM and LMS platforms to enterprise software used by organisations across different industries.

But my journey into software development wasn't exactly love at first sight.

How It All Started

Back in my school days, programming looked... boring.

I never imagined that writing lines of code would become something I'd genuinely enjoy. Like many students, I thought programming was just about memorising syntax and staring at a screen all day.

Everything changed when I joined college and chose Information Technology.

Out of curiosity, I started experimenting with HTML and PHP. My first projects were tiny websites that probably wouldn't impress anyone today, but at the time, they felt magical. Seeing a few lines of code turn into something visible in a browser was enough to spark an interest that has stayed with me ever since.

I still remember creating simple websites just to show them off to my friends. Looking back, they were far from perfect, but those small experiments laid the foundation for everything that followed.

Growing With Technology

I started my professional career in 2017, primarily working with PHP and traditional web technologies. As the years went by, I became increasingly interested in understanding how complete web applications were built, from backend architecture to responsive user interfaces.

That curiosity pushed me to keep learning.

Every project introduced something new. Every challenge became an opportunity to improve. Over time, I expanded beyond PHP and explored modern frontend frameworks, backend technologies, databases, cloud platforms, and the tools that power today's web.

One of the things I enjoy most about software development is that there is always something new to learn. The technology landscape changes rapidly, and that's exactly what makes this field exciting.

From Developer to Tech Lead

One of the milestones I'm most proud of isn't a particular project or technology.

It's the journey from being a beginner who was afraid of making mistakes to becoming a Tech Lead responsible for mentoring developers, guiding teams, and making technical decisions.

Today, I work as a Tech Lead, where I help build and maintain multiple US Government CRM applications. My role goes far beyond writing code. It involves architecture discussions, mentoring team members, reviewing code, solving complex technical problems, and ensuring projects move in the right direction.

I've also had the opportunity to work on CRM systems, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and various enterprise applications throughout my career.

Even after years in the industry, I still feel like I'm only getting started.

There is so much more to learn, so many technologies to explore, and countless ideas I'd love to bring to life.

The AI Era

If there's one area of technology that excites me the most today, it's Artificial Intelligence.

Watching AI transform the way developers work has been fascinating. Tasks that once took days can now often be completed in a matter of hours, allowing developers to spend more time solving meaningful problems instead of repetitive ones.

I don't see AI as something that replaces developers.

I see it as a powerful tool that helps us build better software, learn faster, and focus our energy on creativity and problem-solving.

The future of software development is incredibly exciting, and I'm happy to be part of it.

Beyond the Keyboard

When I'm not coding, you'll probably find me doing one of four things.

You'll either find me in the gym, immersed in a video game, practising guitar, or learning Japanese.

Gaming has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. While I enjoy many genres, some of my all-time favourites include WWE 2K26, The Last of Us, and Days Gone. Games have always inspired me, not just because they're fun to play, but because of the incredible storytelling, world-building, and technology behind them.

Another long-time passion of mine is professional wrestling.

I became a wrestling fan after watching Jeff Hardy, whose fearless style and charisma instantly caught my attention. Years later, I'm still following WWE and enjoying the storytelling, character development, and unforgettable moments that make professional wrestling unique.

These days, some of my favourite superstars include Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and AJ Styles.

Why This Blog Exists

I've learned a lot since writing my first few lines of PHP back in 2017.

This blog is my way of sharing that journey.

Here, you'll find articles about software development, modern web technologies, backend architecture, frontend frameworks, AI, productivity, career growth, and the lessons I've learned while building real-world applications.

Some posts will be deeply technical.

Others will be personal reflections on leadership, learning, and life as a software engineer.

Whether you're a beginner writing your first "Hello World" or an experienced developer looking for practical solutions, I hope you'll find something useful here.

Thanks for Stopping By

If you've made it this far, thank you for reading.

I started this journey with a few lines of PHP and a lot of curiosity. Today, I'm fortunate to work with amazing technologies, collaborate with talented people, and continue learning every single day.

This blog is simply another chapter in that journey.

I hope you'll stick around, explore a few articles, and maybe even learn something new along the way.

Welcome to my blog.
